after a few day im having fun with my galaxy 5 ..
i found out something and got a few question too ..

1. I off data usage, didnt on wifi .. but i still recieve google mail (suprise) ... and it didnt deduct any cent from my line ...  anyone experience this before ??

2. galaxy have any movie player ? how it play movie or can it play movie ??

3. wifi drain more battery thn gaming

overall im very very very comfort with this cute little thing, glad i make the right choice, and to android -)

1. The calendar can be offiline/online, you can switch off the online function
2.PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT can be view/edit by 3rd party apps. Anyway there is not recommend you use smartphone to doing office document since the screen is so small. I will suggest for netbook. believe me, dont buy smartphone if frequent access office doc
3. plenty of free apps for android, or you can post the requisition in the thread and we will find the apps for you, we are helpful here
4.no front camera for galaxy 5, and all android phone are not support 3G video call

I only need application to view those file only, only a minor editing if I need, because lately I've received a lot of call from my clients which usually I'm not in front of my computer. That's why I'm looking for a smartphone. The price for Galaxy 5 are really2 affordable and from my exploration on google, I did not found any problems with this phone except of the small screen size and not supporting flash.

cons: i think the capacitive screen is not up to mark. its either too sensitive (jumping around) or not sensitive (not registering a click)

yes yes.. i face the same problem too. very difficult to press on screen buttons that placed at corner

Con - Low res and small screen size

is this due to the screen protector? if so.. i wanna take out mine..

i'm using the clear type too. and my fren is using the matte type and she didn't complaint anything about it. Though, tonight i'm going to get a matte screen protector. i'll tell you if that help.

Mine is invisible screen protector, so far so good and easy to type even in portrait mode.

BTW one more con is the inability to read bar code due to the absense of auto focus.

mine using cheapo screen protector, not having so much trouble at edge screen but somtime it have. espescially when ur finger swaet a little bit, it became too sensitve.

for barcode if the barcode to small just bring your phone as closed as it can be so it could fit the barcode scanning zone...that what i do ..
