They signed MOU for merger and put up the indicator price.

A lot of details has not being ironed out yet, especially for the newco.

Rm2.30 doesn't mean they buy from you with cash Rm2.30.
While there may be changes in between as well during negotiation.

So there is risk between while merger is expected to be only done by mid next year, long time to go.
