Air Asia - I have not been keen on it for the longest time. However the recent 3Q 2010 PBT was a shocker on the upside. Looks like it has surged past critical mass. The second factor which is causing analysts covering the stock to scramble to upgrade Air Asia is the potential of its Indonesia operations - looks to be surpassing the size of Malaysian operations soon if not already. That is testament to a good replication strategy and the ability to transplant its business model successfully in the region. The execution ability will be well regarded as that can only hint of future successes in other regional countries for Air Asia. Now, maybe the plethora of Air Asia covered warrants will finally start to move up. Its currently at a 30% to regional peers, watch funds surge to buy the stock.

Last month or so Symphony called me, and apologized on my Qcapital cheque.

The cheque mis-printed the last 2-digits of my I.C number, I didn't even realise that!! And luckily I haven't bank in the cheque yet, so the guy asked me to mail back the cheque to them.

Few weeks later I receive my cheque with proper details. Symphony even called back to verify whether have I received my cheque. Well done

In late October to early November, the combined impact from these 3 factors pushed the stock to an all-time high of RM14.20. Can the stock revisit this lofty level? Yes, it is possible since all three "possibles" have yet to happened or ruled out. However, since the share price has run up substantially, a sharp pullback is also a possibility. That may happen if the overall market turned bearish or one or more of the above "possibles" are ruled out (of course the share split & bonus issue are sure things).

Can someone kind enough to create the spreadsheet above? We just add in the number of shares we hold, auto generate the number of newco shares that we shall be entitling

1. You can't expect the share price to be exactly at RM5.10, an 8-9% premium is expectable.
2. The date for merging is still a few months from now. Uncertainty in between.
3. Selling on news.

Today is the 3rd day of consolidation for Suncity/Sunway ever since the merging announcement is made. Time to nibble some if you are keen.

Not sure about IJMLAND-MRCB. I didn't follow.
