all reits counter like dinasour cannot move eh.. but dividend ok la...

wondering how much the korea war can affect our market, as US and China also kind of tense on it right now (inclusive of Japan-China issue in addition to the korea one).

well, one stock going 100% is equal to 5 times ~20% gain. its not easy to pull of 5 20% short term trades because need to spot 5 potential movers.

not many people can do that unless they play leverage like warrants. so technically you got stellar performance!
my holding power for 09 was too weak. up 20-25% i run and switch stocks. this year hehe, 50% also duwan let go with 10% trailing.

that's another good tuition fee paid.

i dunno. it's possible to make big and fast. really up to your style but buffett-style is mega holding power.

IMO, TA by itself is quite ineffective without understanding the remaining factors in the market (sentiment, stock profile, management, hot sectors etc). but pure TA is more useful for derivatives .

Don't you think it ran up a bit high already?

Commodities like CPO futures still very green. I wonder if will suffer same fate as 2008 where it completely collapses in the last quarter of 2008. Though I doubt it will collapse, a correction is actually needed to stabilise prices before it's too late. Oh yeah, buy plantation stocks!!

I'd read up on BIMB but nobody's done an analysis or writeup on them...

My only logical thought was that the entry price at ~1.20 is pretty much the lowest for the past few years.. ("defensive" would be misleading as it's simply traded very thinly...)

also, talks of m&a has been there for more than a year, but most deals just fell thru.. (interested parties include Bahrain Investment, AbuDhabi-Kuwaiti Group, Maybank Etiqa)

i have some new contenders in mind, but i'll share once i find out more...

Judging the qtr report, financially looks ok. Foreigner holding is 1.28% as of Oct end.
Sometimes if foreigner holding is too high, it'll make u    once they dump it
