QUOTE(GregPG01 @ Nov 25 2010, 10:40 AM) pls share why you think paramon good ? well, it's not something you wouldn't have not known before anyway net cash, low valuations (anything below 13x is good for me), super nice divvy yield ~6%, very strong SMA trends, and currently trending in an upwards channel (low 4.90, high 5.50) more cash from disposals are always a better sign, can be used for working capital / angpows think i'll buy in at 4.90 for now, since the environment's favourable hand itchy i want to touch this baby

QUOTE(blinkblink88 @ Nov 25 2010, 11:05 AM) budgeting? if buy kulim for 1 lot how much to pay compare with under rm1... if 1 lot (x100) kulim is worth rm1200, then you can buy 12 lot of rm1 stock. so i don't quite get your logic here. unless your capital is less than rm100,.. but by then you'll be losing more than a quarter of it on commissions.

QUOTE(GregPG01 @ Nov 25 2010, 11:21 AM) exactly, we need to rethink what is cheap / expensive. its the amount of monies that we put in and percentage of returns that matters. getting hundreds of thousands (or milions ?) units of penny stocks mean nothing if they cannot deliver. for penny stocks, each ticks is usually more than 1% . leverage yes...but leverage works both ways (up and down) . but it's easier to play on intraday momentum especially if you have a good intraday brokerage rate . you can clear with a tick movement. *** good things dont come cheap . cheap things dont come good (at least usually & most of them) *** *** you pay peanuts, you get monkeys *** anyway , i can only think of rcecap & mediac. no positions but i think some forumers will be wiling to share their thoughts on them. btw ask pana, she sapu all the shares above Rm10 , Rm5 shares and she is doing well. happy investing . ooh yeah, there's a reason why they're only worth THAT much instead of rm2, rm5. pana, she can sapu rm12 stock and it becomes rm21.

I really hope it's not a KNM scenario. KNM announce offer by SPV to buyout at 90 sen, price went to 86 sen, EPF dumped, offer called off after due diligence done. everybody cry. this one is really fishy smelling to me

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Nov 25 2010, 12:33 PM) Why leh? Carlyle Group is offering higher than Idaman Saga, I thought this would be a good news? just felt the timing, along with the pricing they have of QSR (20x PER, 2.8x PB/V) felt a bit like the KNM days. but it's just my gut feeling.. a bit uneasy. i might be wrong though (probably am) either that or Halim Saad is one hell of a goreng king.
