This is the common practice. When I was doing my plaster ceiling, I make sure that they balance the wood kao kao. I even climb up the ladder to look at the leveler. I asked him to do it strong at that fan point, so this Burmese and his friends grin and then start doing chin ups on the aluminum carcass. 2 of them at once. So your fan is just small matter.
