Dear All Sifus, Attached Image
I am confused with the ceiling fan hook is installed.
Is this stable? My contractor, said this is standard way of installing the extended fan hook. And i am charged RM120 per fan hook. Is the price fair?

I think RM120 is expensive. Usually the contractor will do it FOC if ur project is not a minor one. And looks like its not stable if u compare to the pic that is shared in previous page ( the rejected one is hold by two frame but yours is only one)

Expansive.
I DIY mine is less then RM 30.00.
Mine one not even attached to the soffit of slab.
Just hang a 2" by 2" timber on top of my ceiling board and hook the hook on the timber.
