not same. If u use winrar or 7zip, u open the System > app. u will see JPO v8 gallery.apk file size is larger than BUJP8.

Did you try 20101120 or 20101120a, bro? 720p video recording and playback is not critical to me as I normally only record 480p videos and play standard def AVI files. You couldn't run backup apps? Why, the ROM wasn't rooted?

"at the root explover there it is still mounted as r/o.." ---- nx to it, u can tab th rw.. then it change to mounted as rw (Re-write), of which u can cut and paste any files in the root directory.

click the mount r/w on top of root explorer. if that doesn't work, try the last option in sgs toolbox... hmm, u're not rooted?

my phone is stock froyo (updated via official KIES)

currently i do not have the 3 button recovery mode, thus i m trying to patch back to the recovery 2e.

i m not rooted, as i need to fix my 3 button recovery 1st, right? =D

Hmm, i just use the search function and type "gallery 3D". It appeared as the first item on the search list.

yeah, u have to be rooted. revert your 3e recovery to 2e first, then root. after that should be able to do what u want with root explorer

last time when I search it appears as the 1st too. but now I can't see it anywhere. no skype in my market too... does this have do with product codes???   tried to do market fix in SGS tools but to no avail

no idea, no one has given me any answer what's the cause and how to repair it. jujx said try market fix in sgs tools, but it force closes when I do so   before I'm able to search for these 2 apps in the market u're running doc's rom rite? wonder whether there's sth to do with the base rom
