WTA i had applied the 3-button fixed via odin and the phone reset, but when i hold vol down+home+power button got nothing happen, just appear 'silent mode' 'flight mode' 'power off' option as usual, means does the fix applied sucessfully or not?

How's the smoothness of v9 compare to v8? Cause i feel v9 is really freaking smooth.

Anyone using Cyanogenmod 6.1 ROM here? Specifically the 20101120a beta - the one without working GPS..

Am tempted to give it a go..

I was on CM for a few hours. Nice to see whole revamped UI from the usual, eg, 8 recent apps when holding down home button instead of 6, new backgrounds, camera interface a lot like iPhone, but it still needs a lot to work with. I can't use most of my backup apps. Need to start from scratch. I had problems with 720p video recordings and playback. Music goes off when I am in lock screen, at least for me. And some minor bugs, like camera is in B&W but pics taken in colour.

Also, linpack score was around 13+. The CPU score in quadrant was 4k+, I do not know why it's so high, maybe its because there isn't h264 encoding in CM.

Did you try 20101120 or 20101120a, bro? 720p video recording and playback is not critical to me as I normally only record 480p videos and play standard def AVI files. You couldn't run backup apps? Why, the ROM wasn't rooted?

Hmm, maybe if I have time this weekend, I'll give it a go. Unless of course a new beta gets released, with more improvements.. biggrin.gif

not same. If u use winrar or 7zip, u open the System > app. u will see JPO v8 gallery.apk file size is larger than BUJP8.

"at the root explover there it is still mounted as r/o.." ---- nx to it, u can tab th rw.. then it change to mounted as rw (Re-write), of which u can cut and paste any files in the root directory.
