We will personally train the newb or vet for VG incursion. ( lot of screening process here cause its involved a lot of isk )

this general guide is to rush through L1-3 and get a stable battleship going asap. spend as little point as possible on frig/criuser specific skills, e.g small/medium lasers etc. Once u get a steady battle ship going on, begin training for whatever u want while enjoying the big paycheck from L4 missions (PvP/pve/etc). skillpoint training is a 'do as see fit' kinda thing for this approach, adjust as u see fit.
farm the standings for 1 of the corp i listed above. As u do more missions, the corporation standings will increase and gradually higher level agents (much better pay) will be available.
L1 missions = can be done with almost all frigs. speed tanking with abit of passive tanking will do.(1week or less)
L2 missions = speed+passive tanked destroyers/ active tanked cruisers (around 3week-1month)
L3 missions = battlecruiser. do this when u are familiar with tanking and have lvl3 support skills all over the place. Drones is a must have.
L4 missions = battleships or drake with good support skills. Must have T2 defensive module working, T2 drones, be able to sport full rack of weapons, be able to have at least 10min of cap with all tanking mod on and weapon full blast (ie cap stable). use level3 to get very familiar with battleship handling b4 trying out L4.

During L1-L3 grind:
a) do not buy any faction frigs or cruisers unless ur very rich and hardworking.
b) do not buy any faction mods or faction weapons for ur frigs and cruiser unless u are rich and very hardworking.
c) do not try to explore wormholes. those places are 'anything goes' places. just about anyone can kill u there.
d) always get familiar with your new ship first with easily do-able craps. ie battlecruiser with L2 missions etc etc.

Storyline missions:
After every 16 mission completed, some dude will send an email to you offering storyline missions. this mission affects your standings with other empire faction. and can have very drastic effects on your later game play.

Basically there are 4 empires (amarr, gaylente, caldari and mimi) amarr + caldari is tag teamed against gaylente + mimi. Doing storyline for amarr will make amarr and caldari and piss off gaylente and mimi. continuing to do storyline mission for 1 side will make u hated on the other side and u might end up not be able to go to the other sides anymore in future. (note: nothing is irreversible in Eve )

For starter, u should ignore storyline mission unless they reward something u wanna use urself. only do them when u know what ur doing later on.
