Hello new players

Please note if you subscribe to your trial account into a full account, the player that gave you the trial account gets 30 days free playtime.

So please discuss with that player beforehand if he is willing to give you (100milion isk +free fitted ship) to 300million isk if you do subscribe.
Alternatively, if you are already in your trial account and want to subscribe but the player does not have the isk or unwilling to give, you can check around kopitiam / Singapore Eve channel. There should always be someone willing to do so. Bad thing about this is you will have to start a new account but the 300mil isk will help you alot at the start. (To buy fitted ships/skillbooks/implants)

If you really cannot find anyone, you can PM or evemail me (preferably evemail). I am already subbed for longer than i want to but will honor the 300mil isk agreement for new players.

For those looking for good Malaysian corp, you can check out The Lost Legion (LOLE). You should be able to find a LOLE member in Kopitiam most of the time.

Regards,

Vivian Hellkite/Faithless F

If you like, i can ask one of the best trader i know and my partner in manufacturing to give you some advice on becoming a trader. His ingame name is Occitane.

New players who wants to go combat but at a loss how to advance your character and gameplay after the tutorial missions. You can contact me or ask around in kopitiam/SG eve community channels.
Here is my take for highsec activities:

For those aiming for

1. Best Combat PVE content - You can aim to do level 4 missions / complexes.
To go the mission route, you can start by choosing a npc corp that you wish to mission for. Your decision can be based on the loyalty points (LP) rewards of that particular corp or which of the 4 races you wish to achieve a higher standing of. Check (google for link) Eve survival Guide(missions), Eveagents(agents quality and whereabouts) and the LP store (LP reward loots for each corp).

2. Mining - If you are hardcore and just want to mine, by all means do it, but to mine efficiently you might need more than 1 account for mining boosts and etc. Highsec mining income is quite low compared to combat, comparing level4 vs Solo max-yield mining. So once you have enough training, you might want to consider moving to null sec to mine the high ends.

3. Trading/Hauling - Basically buy low / sell high, profit tends to be more if you are willing to haul between regions to places where you can sell higher. If you are lazy to haul, you can always station/contract trade. Sorry i cant give anymore tips tongue.gif

In effort to gain more new players and to keep them active, many players including myself will be more than willing to give you advice or answer your questions if you have any.

=D But vivi is right. I recommend you deal with someone first before signing up.

While 300 mil is not normally offered, most people are willing to offer 100 mil and a ship of some sort.

Vivi has given good advice.

Cheers,

Liosa Rearl.

I think that photo will scare off new players, i clicked it off after reading a few blocks lol.

Yes Scamming is a legit game mechanics and can be a major problem to new players. Often they get scammed and never return.

To avoid getting scammed "most" of the time:

1. If the deal is too good to be true, it probably is.
2. NEVER use trade window to buy things.
3. Check your contracts properly, the amount of isk / quantity of items / description of loot
4. Avoid Goons recruitment or similiar where they make you pay entry fee and offer to haul all your items for free. You end up contracting/giving them everything and they bring you somewhere to kill you.
5. As new comers do not bother with Eveonline's market discussion's investment/loan threads. Particularly those that spam in market hubs, they are 99% scammers (Latest is phaser inc which seems like a ponzi scheme). If you do want to invest, you can ask me for some advice (Not in me as my investments are private, but i will give you guidelines).

In the event you get scammed, just move on. Do NOT contact your scammer and feed them your tears, they love it more than the isk/loot they stolen from you.

*side note: i do agree 300mil for newcomers is abit high as plex prices usually hover just above 300mil.
I will still honor it to help the newcomers. I will adjust it if plex price drops.

Edited one of my previous post to reflect instead of 300mil change to (100mil + free fitted ship to 300mil).

Like i said i am subbed way longer than i intended (2 acct till end 2012 via GTC), take my offer as a last resort if new comers cannot find someone to give you an "early head start".

MrHulk i thought all old birds should be quite rich lol

The Demo version must be the Trial version as we been mentioning in this thread.
Some of Trial version's more obvious limitations.

1. You cannot transfer isk out of your character but full account players can transfer to you.
2. Certain skillbooks cannot be injected, that means you cannot fly/use certain ships/items and only basic shiptypes.

Preferably and more advantagous for you (and a potential old timer) to hook up in the (100mil + free fitted ship up to 300mil isk) deal, is to ask for a buddy invite.
If you do decide to sign up before trial ends, you get a nice boost to your ingame wallet and the old timer that passed you the buddy invite gets free 30 days play time.

I was going to suggest i setup collaterallised loans with low interest (e.g. 1.5% per week).
Which i did before with much higher interest.
Then i realised that means i earn 1.5mil per 100mil loaned out per week. weaksauce:p
