4g ram is alot man
and yeah core i5 would be more than enough for eve and other games
also i hear new core i5 would be coming out somewhere around this 1 week along with new nvidia graphic card
so maybe you might want to put that into consideration in your purchase
also get a nice graphics card maybe a GTX 460 or the upcoming GTX 560
playing eve in full HD is going to be awesome

btw to dan, 4gb ? if u use 32bit windows, it just detected up to 3.2gb i think, better just get 3 gb if u very tight on budget
