Hi blhc, the diff between the two, apart from the color is the length. Orange is 1 cm longer, about 9cm compared to the black.

If you insist, surcharge will apply for delivery services (time & transport cost). Another option, u can come to Sri Damansara Cash & Carry / Self Pickup (with appointment). It's the same shape, but with magnesium rod and ferrocium rod embedded in it!! Really cool. Now it will be easier to start a fire with magnesium shavings and spark from the Ferrocium rod! Yeeeha!

Added on November 14, 2011, 9:40 amHi guys, due to my recent experience, Pos malaysia had a new procedure in checking PosEkspres delivery. If they suspect items are being posted in the envelop, they will hold and return the package to you and refuse delivery . so, to be safe, I will no longer send items using pos ekspres envelop, unless it's specifically being requested (under own risk - unsucessfull delivery I will refund minus RM5 for admin fee).

under this new procedure, new price will be updated as follows.

Shipping charges for
1. peninsular malaysia: RM6 flat rate (combined shipping up to 10 pcs of flint, ie 500g)
2. east malaysia: RM9 flat rate (combined shipping up to 10 pcs of flint, ie 500g)

New REDUCED price structure now applies to the flints.

Combo flints (old Stock still available): RM22 per pc
Orange flints: RM26 per pc

I'd like to apologize for the trouble . I encourage that you order in bulk or share your orders with friends to minimize the shipping cost.

I highly recommend Poslaju also are much secured as you have to sign and acknowledge receipt of item, compared to PosEkpres which the postman will only drop it in you mailbox without further action.

Delivery schedule by post also changed. Shipping of items can only be made on Saturdays, except 1st week (which Pos ofis is closed). All payments need to be cleared by Friday evening only entitled for shipment the next day. I can try my best to ship urgent order at Post Office which operating at extended hours but there will be no guarantee I can make it. Talk to me first.

For COD, I now only can entertain location around Port Klang and Shah Alam or Subang (with appointment only - no extra charge within selected areas). Flat rate Rm10 will be charged for outstation locations out of my convenient time.

All these changes is because of Pos recent procedure change, and also becoz I have moved from Sri damansara to Port klang and I now have a new job in pulau indah . I really regret for all inconveniences I have caused becoz of this change. I hope to provide the best service and we can be real friends.

Hi, I recommend getting the new black combo flint.. you wont have 1500strikes out of it, but you will have the other value added feature - the magnesium rod which will definitely help starting a fire.

fine magnesium shavings highly flammable and will burn quick, bright and intensely.

yes I'm talking about the black color flint. based on new price structure, it's going to be RM22 per piece plus RM9 for shipping to east Malaysia. However I could consider rounding down the sub total if you purchase more than 3. Please ask your friends whose interested to buy this coz you can save on the postage cost.

this item is considered dangerous if used or handled improperly. also it requires practice to learn to use it efficiently. the temperature of the sparks are very high but it's only for a fraction of a second. under normal proper usage, it's shouldn't cause any injury, just the same with knives. You just have to be careful.
