They probably cap by user's account, anyone using VPN face this speed cap issue? They probably activate the cap if they see bandwidth usage more than certain percentage on certain IP range/routes.
Hopefully they won't impose monthly cap, that'll be sucks with my current download behavior.

QUOTE(FlamingYu @ Nov 25 2010, 03:46 PM) can't wait to see that happen and receive the worst networking ever award +. StreamyX already been awarded "blacklist" in BT ISP list just few years ago. With them imposing throttling for the reason of BS *FUP* already heating up some frustrated users (me included). And capping... wait till Maxis or other ISP move into wired services... (you know the rest).

QUOTE(Loreburner @ Nov 25 2010, 08:50 PM) I started getting capped today. Http downloads dropped from 90 kBps to 30 kBps. Will Malaysian VPNs like Bolehvpn help? Anyone can recommend a VPN? What IP range are you using during the speed drop? Is changing to another range of IP helps?

If want un-cap and still want unifi, get the BIZ5 package, it's RM199, although only 5Mbps DL/UL but you get un-capped quota, and plus it's business line you get higher traffic priority. BIZ10 and BIZ20 is freaking expensive due to fix IP feature, that's all to it. (You see the jump from 199 to 599)
I think I posted this at some thread, but I'm not too sure if normal home user (not company) can register BIZ5 or not, anyone know please tell.
