PJ Section 14 here. Speeds are capped to what other users are experiencing. And to think I upgraded from 512kbps to 1mbps, hoping to get higher speeds...

yes me too it all happen since last thursday I am on 1Mbps package and my god i don't know what happen the download is so slow . I want my rebates !  if it's not solve by today I am going to complaint to the SKMM .

Your ISP is not TM....

they capped base on ip. try get a good ip and test with speedtest. The line is uncapped. But have to connect and reconnect multiple times to get the uncapped ip. once connected dont switch off the router.

you guys should check with TM and file a report if they dont give u a resolution. could it be your router, pc with p2p running on the background or pc infected with virus? check your task manager on the networking tab and see if theres any activity during idle. if all above does not apply then it might be problem with the phone line. just my experience, no other isp performance is better than TM in malaysia.
