Hmm.. it seems like even i'm not spared from this international throttling phenomenon..

Speedtests to KL, Cyber and Seri Kembangan => 3.5 Mbps = NORMAL

Speedtests elsewhere => Massive fluctuation, mostly just 2 Mbps

DDLs from major filehosters also seem to be capped at 200+ kBps only.. usually get around 440-450 kBps

4 Meg user from TTDI....

Time to make that report... SKMM here i come.

P.S. There ipohbee, you can say i told you so at me now lol.... time for me to eat humble pie lol

Lulz TMNUTz is capping their corporate customers too? That's a hoot lol.. Thought they're usually immune to this BS..

Any other corporate SDSL customers can verify what nwk said?

Hmm.. it seems like my DDLs from HF are back to normal for now, 440 KBps again.... waiting for 12pm (local time) with bated breath for the throttling again...

90% of in internet is international. Might as well call it Intranet instead of broadband now. I'll call and email them later.

That's true in our case. But say if you were a user in the United States calling your network the Intranet could be true lol... As your sites are mostly local... same goes if you were Japanese or Korean...

One more hour to go...

TAMAN TUN DR. ISMAIL.

4 Mbps user. Never had ANY major problems with throttling until they switched 'that one' on.

Even a bandwidth rich area like TTDI gets affected...

Also just to chime in again.. the TIME proxy works JUST FINE too!!!!

Heck is even faster for me than the TMNUT proxy.. incase TMNUTz switches off their proxy.. i can assure everyone that the TIME one is JUST PERFECT...

ahpek26.. i could kiss you right now if i could....

EDIT:- Or so i thought... the TIME one fluctuates a lot with Filehosters.. starts ar 400+ kBps for me, than fluctuates a lot..... TMNUTz proxy gives me a steady 360+ kBps to use.. straight graph... will use it until 2 am lulz

EDIT2:- Prostrates again to ahpek26

EDIT3:- The TIME proxy forbids Facebook for some weird reason so just a heads up...

New report.. The TMNUT proxy.. gives me solid (flatline) 3 Mbps (360 KBps) speeds for all Filehosters... not the full 4 Mbps.. but hey.. its better than the stupid 1 Mbps cap they had me on at time yesterday lol...

All I have to do is just switch off the proxy at 2 am XD, back to normal speeds.....

Still capped at T.T.D.I. Kuala Lumpur....

Hmm... notice the ones who're still capped have Unifi in the area as well.. Coincidence? I think not!

Another TM ploy to force all to upgrade to the capped service...
