normal 1mbps should get around 120kb/s
180kb/s means u r capped on 1.5mbps

Basically, so many problems... they should had just re-structure the whole system and adapt the new ISP practice of giving limited package.

1mbps limit to 10gb per month, if wan more you have to purchase more.

Reduce the price and earn more from those torrent-hoggers and media sharing fellas..

True, different countries all have bandwidth cap. Unlimited bandwidth was good in the old days since they are the only ISP aside from jaring or times.

im a 1mb user, usually get 180kbps (early this year) drop to 160kbps (3months ago) and now 60kbps for HF premium download.. 3 days ago, i still managed to dload 5Gb in one night, but today its a totally different story.

speedtest to US shows my upload 0.31, my download 0.28... what the?!
tmnet speedtest gives my 13xx to 15xx to even 21xx today. what is happening actually?

Im facing the very same problem with neuvas... Since yesterday, im only getting 118... 124... max download can go is 60kbps... When will normal speed back?

dont use kl server to speedtest. use cyberjaya or singapre.

btw, that cs told me,"eh speed test to kl server ok what?"

then i replied,

"omg, u think i subscribe to internet to just browse kl or local website ke?then i better buy cheap newspaper or watch news at tv, i have lots of needs la with internet.btw even speedtest to cyberjaya also fail, how?"

my bill is auto debit by Credit Card.....

every month auto debit RM116.00 for TM Nut....

so means i had to cancel auto debit to bill ? because i really wan asking for rebate....

you still can subscribe la.. it is not 24/7 capping the speed.. and you can spend abit more to get VPN or malaysia proxy to bypass this capping. =)

Subscribe unifi. Don't use streamyx.

Not maybe, it's confirm. they cap streamyx speed to gather for unifi.

currently i am already being capped and i have tried for the bypass already. capped speed = ~250kBps . proxy on = 450kBps stable speed. 

I got a call from them 10 mins ago. Lets see if they are a real tiger or a toothless one.

just some updates, I bet the capping issue is for real. I rang to 100 last night and they send technician to my house today. Just like 15mins ago, when I tell him about my exact problem. The technician directly tell me there is an issue with stimyx line with international side. As tmnuts now capping the bandwidth at certain time frame in order to feed it them to some 4mb / unifi user. And nothing they can do.

so they sacrificed majority of the 1mbps user for the 4mbps and unifi....why they don't dare cap unifi user as well....

hmm.. can TV3 aduan rakyat help us?
