Usually he ends up with 60.48.xxx.xxx, 118.xxx.xxx.xxx or 124.xxx.xxx.xxx

I think it is time for TMNET top people to come clean and tell the truth. Users don't appreciate ninja throttling like this, seriously. I don't mind capping but please tell us first.

Okay this is freaky. I send 1 email to impact@tm.com.my about 15 minutes ago and my speed is back. Guess complaining to that email really works.

Ah I speak too soon. The cap is back! Sigh.

45 mins ago, the speed back to normal but now it is recapped. My brother stay near your area, Taman Desa, KL.

Because they can, i suppose. My main suspicion is they unable to cope with bandwidth demand of both UNIFI and Streamyx together so they cap the old one. It is also a test to see if the capping works and user's response.

Don't be surprised if they going to introduce capping system ala Australia soon next year. Personally, I don't mind it but I think many Malaysian users don't like the idea.

Ah, they have improved! I was using TPG back in 2005 -2006, the package is 40 gigs for 50 AUD a mth ADSL. Share it with a housemate.

Same here. Mine is Taman Desa off Old Klang Road. A TMNET building is located here in Taman Desa.

Will post at 0000, see if midnight will uncap my area.

I am not far from Old Klang Road but my IP is always 175.xxx.xxx.xxx or 110.xxx.xxx.xxx since last Friday night. I did so many reboots and this number or 110 come and haunt me.

Cap is back for me. 10 mins ago it is 50 plus. That's it, I gonna downgrade my package.

I am effectively capped now. I thinking to downgrade the speed since TMNET is not sincere about delivering what they promised.
