i dunno if its just my microcube, but my microcube is really loud compared to my old 16w kustom(which sucked). my microcube's volume is set at 9-10 oclock most of the time and its already really loud

i would go with the pacifica.. somehow tele's with 2 humbuckers dont really interest me.. also, i prefer alder bodies over agathis but thats personal preference
