QUOTE(jasontantenghuat @ Nov 23 2010, 10:14 PM) i thought of that before too. but looking at the shape of the top panel, if you were to make it pop up, the area where you can actually fit a rectangular lcd screen is quite small and possible it's not deep enough to close when you pop it down back |

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/34434...holesalers.html able to ship to malaysia too Added on November 24, 2010, 3:16 am QUOTE(jasontantenghuat @ Nov 24 2010, 03:05 AM) price not too bad ma. with shipping, after convert probably less than rm1.5k and it comes with gps + bluetooth + ipod connectivity + support rear view mirror + steering control.if u get pioneer or jvc or other branded ones, it will cost u easily rm2k above and that's without the gps signal receiver too... QUOTE(khtee @ Nov 24 2010, 09:08 AM) yes yes.. this is damn nice.... perhaps i have to wait another 4 and half year only to get it...haha i dont wnna waste my warranty... but seriously cool stuff.. and is relatively cheap for its function.. any idea wat brand is it? reliable? anyone persona/gen2 installed? not sure if anyone in malaysia have it installed. seems like it's been produced for the outside market where Gen 2 is being sold as well such as China etc i think.QUOTE(overfloe @ Nov 24 2010, 10:18 AM) very nice indeed. but the spec seems a bit slow for a 800x480 resolution.. should be at least 533MHz cpu, otherwise the gps software will be laggy a bit. yea, and it only has 64 MB RAM. same like the lokatoo i have, will lag when use garmin. but it's stated this device supports TomTom map. As I know, TomTom gps software less heavy, so maybe it's ok? |

Proton Espire?? There was a interactive touch screen monitor at Proton area. Can customize/configure the ride and print out in color from their epson printer there. i captured some photos of the Proton Espire that's available as one of the model that can customize. Looks like Tuah already has an official name

QUOTE(jackyap84 @ Dec 9 2010, 11:23 PM) wow! how u made it? maintain rev below 3k rpm? actually not suprising. my persona se that's heavier also can always get above 400km per tank. that also not maintaining between 2-3k rpm. mix driving of constant speed, fast, some jam and normal city area. but i mostly use ldp la.. |

May b thts the reason. But once i tried fill up full tank n drive frm penang to kl around 80-90km/h speed, imagine half tank already run 300km dy. Thts really good. Btw my car showing 8.5 l/100km. Hw bt others? don't be overly happy. the final quarter of the fuel meter will go down very fast compared to the first 3 quarters. i have also tried 300km half tank before, but when finish full tank only about 450km.This post has been edited by dARKaNGEl: Dec 10 2010, 01:32 PM |

QUOTE(muslayer @ Dec 22 2010, 08:42 AM) How much for the remap ? remap ECU won't be affected by battery kong. it will still stay intact. read the faq section in dktuning, he explains it quite wellOnly scared that after remap...Battery kong... Everything reset back to Stock setting. QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Dec 22 2010, 09:01 AM) I ask for the 32bit ECU.. And he say it will cost ~2k to remap.. you ask 32bit ecu from whom? i dont think dylan gives new ecu, he only remaps the existing one in the car. about cost wise, i read in the VW thread that it cost about rm3.9k to do their car ecu remap. not sure how much it cost for a 308 pug, but if ~2k for persona, then it's almost half as cheap than the vw liao. it would seem that dktuning will help tune/remap the ecu a few times until u get an optimal setting and they keep a copy of your stock car ecu in case need to reset backHaha.. Campro kosong.. but in the website, it states only about 5-10% power increase for a natural aspirated engine nia. so may not be as worth as turbos |

QUOTE(muslayer @ Dec 22 2010, 10:50 AM) QUOTE(ZenGTMM @ Dec 22 2010, 10:58 AM) hmm not really that worth it also lah.. he told me cos my 32bit is a bit complicated to remap, he would have to remove it and sent it to germany for the tuning then they ship it back here.. In the meantime cant use my car guess it suits ppl like me who doesn't want to do much of performance modding by changing/adding parts 2k not worth it in my opinion lah.. 2k can be spend on other things that can create more better power increase like exhaust, lightened crank pulley, cam tuning, probably even blueprinting engine top.. Yeah.. True true.. Then the e-manage can be recycled and removed before selling the car away.. if can get slight boost in power while not compromising warranty getting void, why not? technically warranty will void, but can ask for remap to old ecu mappings before send back to claim parts warranty |
