i get offer frm the tyre shop,

he offer me rm150 pertyre 195-65-15(2ndhand "goodyear" from Exora,the owner used it only for a week)

is ok for me to change from 195-60-15 to 195-65-15,what will happen to my fc/pickup/accelerate/car height n etc??
*
Hmm.. Car might be bouncy, wont affect acceleration much. FC wise, not much difference. Car height, probably 20-30mm higher than usual, thus it may be unstable on high speed.

Orifice valve. Tube A, Tube B, etc etc. Please do a search on orifice valve to find out the real cause of that noise.

Potong from which car originally??
RM870 is very reasonable.. Can consider..
WHAT?! Install that ducktail also need to drill hole?? They want to prevent theft ah?
Brand new one RM150 only..
Same mommy mah..
Probably the same batch also.. haha..
Well misleading maybe, but not totally true.. Cos if want to install turbocharger definitely u are looking for huge gain.. But most of the gain comes very late.. Therefore FC will be severely affected due to when in town driving the rev wont be that high but due to low comp pistons the torque is going to be near useless..
thumbup.gif Cheers!  thumbup.gif
Looks like ok urs is VLT 50% all round.. Chance for me to brag my ride.. haha..
Taken at KLIMS.. VIP Parking in front of UMNO building.. No need to pay parking fees.. hehe..

Standard consumption u shd expect is 10-12km/L
LOL.. Thought of that ady.. Will be buying some 3M Dinoc carbon sheet after my exams to stick around wherever i find it suitable.. haha..

Eh.. Who say cannot? My Persona IAFM get around 42km/L k... 2.4 L/100KMs... brows.gif
Downhill from Genting, 3rd gear all the way.. biggrin.gif

I WANNA JOIN CARBON FEST!! LoL.. I'm not sure if it'll look good on my car.. Cos it's Bronze Garnet... Carbon sheet looks damn good on white cars, tho.. drool.gif

Yes. True. But I used up 1/4 of a bar just to get home just now from my gf's house. Why? Cos was rushing, pedal to the metal habis habis kaw kaw + 17" tyres. And the journey is only about 10 kms. I estimated that I used around 2 litres of fuel. LoL biggrin.gif

Become lala car ady.. haha.. Got ducktail and TRD raised spoiler.. If can modify the TRD into adjustable wing one.. XD..

Need some help.. Which rims paling cun??

I got these rims.. RM1600 + Kumho 215/45R17.. Xtra Load series.. Treadwear 320 Traction AA Temp A + Trade in ori steel rims RM500 = Total package RM2350..
Worth or not?

This one is the lightest because its forged, the other 2 are cast.. ~7.4kg. + tire is around 11kg only. If only it came in gunmetal color..
[attachmentid=1939331]

This one the shiniest.. XD  thumbup.gif ~8kg
[attachmentid=1939334]

This one matches my car color beautifully.. XD Shiny somemore..  thumbup.gif ~8kg
[attachmentid=1939338]

Im trying to look for a wheel 10-spoke gun metal color one.. So far cant find any.. Btw Persona can fit up to 18" wheels.. Turn the tire also ngam ngam wont knock the inside panel.. Persona wheel well can take up to 7.5jj rims.. Im so tempted to fit in 18" rims.. It weights only 11kg for rims only. XD

If 18" not big enough.. There is always 40" to drool on..
[attachmentid=1939388]
*
Erm.. Zeng.. I personally feel that those rims are a bit overpriced la.. Except for the forged one.. Others very expensive lo.. Only my 2cents..
I think u can get better price at Klang/Rawang...? And the tires.. Kumho? Haven't tried, but is it good?

My opinion = go survey around first before you buy... I took a long time deciding as well between two shops, but ended up getting my current wheels cos it's bridgestone + high trade in..

And don't forget, tyre shops usually come up with all sorts of shits when it comes to the total cost later. Centre cone, lock nuts, pressure valves. These should be given for free. If you didnt ask, they could just charge you without you knowing it. ASK them. cool2.gif

11 KGs?? Crap. then my eyes must have something wrong when I weighed mine or the scale rosak. LoL. biggrin.gif

Erm hehe.. I hvnt changed anything.. But according to the shop fella the ori if u change headers it will be very noisy lah.. Due to the original piping there the midbox is hollow one.. What the sunway fella recommend me on a budget for auto is that change header, add a flexi-tube (nanas), use back the original 1.6" piping but add a bullet, then change to a s-flow muffler.. All for less than 1k.
Just tell the counter u want to reflash to new ECU firmware.. They wont ask any questions and they just fill it up into the work order.
Haiyo.. Vacation cut short 1 day..  tongue.gif
LOL Not planning to buy yet.. Want to buy also at least have to wait till after cny then only got money.. Just surveying around.. Mine i choose the lightweight ones, forged rims the best cos they are the hardest and wont crack easily.. The chromed ones like urs are cast alloy.. They are 12-15kg for rims alone.. The sunway shops use the digital glass scale, those that u use in bathrooms one.  ohmy.gif  I was scared of placing the rims on it in case i broke the glass..  sad.gif

I used the price as an indicative for now lah.. Anything cheaper im ok with it.. Im looking to change the whole set of rims including trade in for less than 2k if possible.. I hvnt go to Rawang or Klang area there to survey.. Go there confirm can get it cheaper..

Kumho are ok lah.. Something like GT radial. GT last time was known as Gajah Tunggal from Indonesia.. Nobody dared to buy their tires, so they rename the company lah.. haha.. Kumho is from Korea and they have quite some name in the drag and drift scene in USA.. Most important is the rating lah.. If the Traction is AA or AAA means confirm tire botak very fast as the compound is mid to soft.

U mean this NZ Wangsa Maju Section 5?

Ur car PE means 32bit.. Ori crop circle light one then its 16bit.. 16bit as i know from the fella cant be reflashed, can only be tuned as the firmware for 16bit is permanently written into the EEPROM chip.. So the only way to reflash is to chip it. The difference between reflash and tuning is Flashing writes a new basemap and preset tuning, but a retune improvises on the existing mapping my modifying the values. Basically retuning is better than reflashing lah.. But reflashing is done by Proton for an improved map and its free. Retuning should be done by a competent fella or not the power and FC will be terrible..
*
Yea, that NZ. Got plenty of parking ma. Eh, mine not chrome leh..mine just silver colour nia.. I wont get chrome wheels la.. Hard to maintain sad.gif altho look nice..

Mine front 235kpa, back 220kpa.. But the front with 235kpa also still look a bit flat for me.. But the steering can feel very much lighter than using 31psi/28psi manufacturer settings..

That siao ******* at tyre shop pumped 40 psi for my front tyres & 31 psi for rear when I changed to 17". Bumpy as hell and I can feel every single stone on the tarmac shakehead.gif

Exactly. Then I lowered it to 35 frt and increased to 35 rear when I installed the rear spring dampers. Much better. Feels like riding on stock 195/60/15 with 215/45/17 handling thumbup.gif

Hmm wouldnt it be a waste to claim insurance for only 2 tires and lose the NCB? 1 year NCB itself is almost the worth of the tires..

Stuck in jam it will go up to like 13-15L/100km also got.. Proton should have start stop tech in the car.. Confirm can save a lot of petrol since everyone is stuck in a jam somewhere.

Haha.. if Proton does implement start stop tech into the car, they would've start-stopped my heart too.. Imagine how would the price be if they ever do that? I'd be better off driving a kancil or viva. LoL. biggrin.gif

LoL. But I think manual can achieve even lower. And 2.4 is just the average. While going downhill got some uphill slopes aso, so momentum not enough have to tekan a bit. Thats why 2.4. It's just around 2.2/2.3/2.4. Never more than that. Maybe manual can get 1.x L/100kms? brows.gif

Yeah it happened to me yesterday when i was using the smart tunnel around 2pm. super heavy rain that time.. I was nearing the toll and i applied the brakes a little then the tire skidded on the huge blue TnG sign painted on the roads.. The merc beside me also brake hard cos he also got scared by the sound.. So lightly i touched the brakes also it locked..  shakehead.gif

About spark plugs

I suggest we go ahead for the bulk order of Denso Iridium Power 0.4mm for our Personas.. I read through a lot of forums for reviews.. This chart is what totally got me sold.
http://www.svtlightnings.com/sparkplugmisfires.htm

Since Campro needs a 1.1mm surface gap, which is rather high that what other cars generally uses (0.8mm), so i believe a thinner core would be more advantageous compared to bosch 4+, since the ignition voltage remains the same.
I believe we can have higher top speed now.. XD..

RM140/set of 4plugs if we can get 10orders.
If not RM144/set if we only get 5orders.

So please RSVP..

2) jackyap84

Hehe.. Smart tunnel while raining? Dangerous lo.. The smart tunnel road very uneven & slippery..
Nice to test car engine noise in the tunnel tho wink.gif

Makan minyak? A bit lah.. The other day I drove to Ulu Yam first, then from there to Genting.. 4 person in car. use up about 2 bars..
