You sound very confident of this untried & untested over time car.  Actually, Persona is sluggish, heavy,under powered & low tech.(highly reflective of it's pricing) Hitting top speed in it is a nice feeling but braking is nightmare.  Somehow, I feel this car has not enough R & D & Proton engineers are super incompetent to let it roll out of their factory like this.  Not surprised they are relying on Mitsubishi again.  PROTON -  25 YEARS OF SHIT!

Heavy, I agree.. Underpowered? Hmm.. I suppose if you shave some weight off the Persona, you'll get roughly equivalent performance to Vios..

Not to say that I'm a die-hard Proton supporter.. But to be compared with companies like Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, BMW, Mercedes, Audi & all those marques with at least 50 years of experience, Proton is still a newcomer. I do hate the fact that they relied on Mitsubishi again for Inspira, though.. I feel that it's nothing but an excuse when the CEO said that it'll be cheaper to rebadge a car than to spend money on R&D. Might as well just admit the fact that it's profit that they want. Yes, Mitsubishi & Peugeot is doing it. Everyone is doing it. Rebadging each other's cars. But why Proton? Them big companies rebadge to cut cost but they have many other exclusive models. They spend time and money into making their own models for decades. We don't have that many. I am disappointed with Proton but at the same time proud with them.

i just consulted my friend who work as mechanic, he has done some checking, and ask me when i bought my car, i said just 5 days ago, then he advise me take to service centre or consult the SA on this to claim the warranty to change the whole bumper, basically this thing is beyond repair, of course i dont think i like to drill holes to my 5 days car. cos he told me similar case occured to his friend before. so i'll drop them a call tomorrow...

oh update a little bit, my friend told me even if rivet, the alignment wouldnt be the same. so i'll try my luck with the warranty claim. wish me luck persona lyn club...
