I need to open 3G in order to receive MMS right?
Do i need to open cellular data as well?

Have you on both "enable 3g" and "cellular data"? If yes, then might be due to your area coverage. 

What telco you are on now?

But you can add in some settings as follow to this tread. Hope it helps.

I need help. I have forgotten how to make my customised ringtone as ringtone for all incoming calls. I hv tried the method outlined in Cnet. The customised ringtone is in the Ringtone Folder in iTunes but when I sync my iPhone4, it does not show up in Setting --> Sound. Where have I gone wrong? Previously I was able to make my customised ringtone as the default ringtone for all incoming calls. However, I have forgotten how I did it. Can someone please help me?

Just upgrade to 4.2.1. Its stable enough reported by forumers here. I personally fine with 4.2.1. So just go ahead.
The only step that is missing from ya is "just boot  tethered" option perform by you. Run back redsn0w and this time untick everything but "just boot tethered" option.

Sit tight and enjoy rest of the show.
Key point is oversea set written by you. Meaning you need some sort like pushfix thinggy to reactivate it back or use SAM yo. Please google for more info.

bro u use iphone how long d?
everytime when u syn ur iphone with ur pc/mac
auto backup will be made
after u upgrade to 4.2 juz restore back from ur old iphone instead of setting up as 'a new iphone'

even if you turn it off,there wont be any effect.
its saved by your operator which will be maxis or digi or celcom.
if you dont like your number to be display on the caller id,just ask your telco provider to set up as Pivate Number.
Charges for maxis customer are rm10 per month.

In all my outgoing e-mails sent from my iPhone4, I would like to have the signature " Sent from my iPhone4" appearing @ end of mail. Do I need to set this same signature in my Gmail Setting when sending out e-mails from my MBP or can I have a different signature such as " everything is OK " for outgoing mails sent from MBP?

Is it because of the USB 2.0 thing ?
