There's one more place u need to check.
go to settings, then scroll all the way down til u see facebook. then click on push notifications and from there u'll be able to select what u want to be pushed, eg. messages, wall posts, friend request etc etc etc. hope this helps

It doesn't work this way I suppose, its depends on which alternative reception is stronger. Lets say you wifi is as slow as poke automatically divert to Edge or 3g.
Sorry but from my testing, it doesnt work that way, ie. it wont choose the best reception.
As long as it's connected to a wifi, it will use that connection for internet, regardless whether that router is connected to the net or not.
Try it for urself.. switch on data & 3g, then connect ur iPhone to ur router, then cabut the telekom line from the back of ur router and try to surf using safari or anything.

HI guys..i have a WIFI problem for my iphone 4...
I cant seem to connect to the internet/get any signal through to my iphone through my aztech wifi modem/router..the product name is Aztech DSL1000EW(L) which is wireless enabled(54mbps).
I've tried almost every possible ways i can think of but still cant solve it.
On my device it says i'm connected to my wifi network but when i try to get new emails or even surf the web it seems to fail.
Any1 have any advice or ways to solve that??

is the aztech connected to the internet?
if yes. try to 'Forget this Network' in the wifi settings n then reconnect.
then check whether the IP Address of ur iphone is correct.. meaning it should fall in the range of IP that you have set for the router. Also check if ur router has MAC filtering on.
