no more JB...i am using official firmware now...i support original..programmer did a hard work..any better way to restore??

You still get it don't you? Yours will need 3rd party utility to reactivate back your notifications. Please google pushfix.


Library > music > right click > get info > lyric > wokay

Make sure you are putting lyrics in the right tab dude. If not cannot berjaya yo.

i do before la...lol..any other way which can have a really clean install??..i mean total wipe out everything..btw, in IOS 4.1 previous i did not experience such problem...

That is the only way to perform clean install FYI i.e by using iTunes.
Just click Restore, don't hold shift, let the itunes download the firmware from Apple server.

i saw in Apple Discussion board...it say reboot phone..i notice that when u turn off the phone by holding SLEEP button til slider appear and you slide it to Turn Off, when Turn back On, it does resume from what you do before turn off..meaning, those application which running in background(double click Home to see it) still running when u turn it on..

u cant directly transfer ur contact number to iphone simcard. best way using iTunes and save to ur PC. Use iTunes to get backup your contacts
and this will help you to copy all the contacts or else you can sms all the contacts from your iphone to PC.


red quote is in DFU Mode. yup, just restore using iTunes and let iTunes download original iOS.

The red quote is to perform hard reset. For your information, iPhone has two type of reset, soft and hard. Soft is like what you mentioned, hard reset is following the steps in red quote.

everytime when u syn ur iphone with ur pc/mac
auto backup will be made
after u upgrade to 4.2 juz restore back from ur old iphone instead of setting up as 'a new iphone'

its saved by your operator which will be maxis or digi or celcom.
if you dont like your number to be display on the caller id,just ask your telco provider to set up as Pivate Number.
Charges for maxis customer are rm10 per month.
