i dont think faulty earphone can fast forward or stop a song, unless u're using one of those earphones with remote controls lah. if that's the case, just unplug it and see if the problem still occur or not

personally i dont think it'll be a good idea to release an iphone 4s, cuz it will establish a pattern that the 'better upgrades' iphones are 2 years apart. so probably ip4s sales wont be as good as ip4 (or just not as exciting), bcuz a lot of ppl will wait for ip5 being fairly certain it's going to be a bigger update

it can be done, but ur laptop cannot connect to the internet by wifi bcuz u need to use ur wifi to broadcast the signal to ur iphone. so u need to connect ur mac using LAN or something

when u get ur mac online, turn on Airport and then Create Network. u can set a name and password for this. then on ur iphone, just turn on wifi and connect to the connection u just made. this is called adhoc networking

then ur iphone (or any other wifi device) should be able to go online thru this connection from ur mac

and after typing all of this i just realised u didnt mention whether it's a pc or mac. my instructions were for macs haha so just google how to create adhoc network for whatever OS u'e running

tbh i dont get why ppl are upset getting refurbished set even if it's in mint condition :S

depends where u got it in the first place. check the model number n google if it's an unlocked set or not

double tap ur home button. maybe u have too many apps running in the background. tap n hold any of them until they start to jiggle with a '-' on top (just like how u would delete an app). tap the - to close the app (it wont delete... the delete icon has and 'x' not '-')

there wasnt a problem at all actually. just that iphones are pretty strict on how many bars to show. realise that there are no standard way of calculating how much bar relates to how exactly good the signal is. so a 3 bar on iphone is probably equivalent to a full bar on another phone. something like that
