Jadehills is still under construction.

The lake I believe serves as retention pond for floor mitigation.

However when the jungle is cleared and the permanent drains still not in place, the surface water has to be properly managed if not will flow to the lowest level of the development.

The flood never happen here before the clearing and construction of the HILLS part. See how mother nature struck if you cut down all the trees on the hills. GAMUDA still have a 2nd chance to rectify this since JH project still has many years to go. If it happens again, then shame on you GAMUDA!

Are u stay in JH?

Is this the clearing that also caused Country Heights flood? CH is even lower than JH.

Do think that any development is to be blamed without a thorough study.

Things happen a lot of time due to multiple reasons and not only single but it is easy for us to point finger to the most obvious around.

There are lots of other development around the area and not JH alone.

Clogging the existing drains and also throwing of rubbish into the rivers can be similar cause of the flooding.

Poeple saying 欺山末欺水 & this is one very good exmaple in Jadehill.

It is beeter flood happen now as developer can modify some development plan compare if the flood happen much later ( completed stages) where not much land or improvement can be done.

Definately got to complaint Kau Kau on this Gamuda.

That day, the flood was centralized at Serdang/Besraya between UPM and Serdang KTM. Lots of flat areas around that zone got flooded....Sri Serdang to Country Heights. Kajang town was spared.

Nope but wish to stay there (number 1 choice) or TP (2nd choice) if die die have to choose Kajang. (TP is also Kajang ok, not Cheras ). Cheras is after Phoenix Plaza to KL, which I don't like due to old area/messy/traffic jam.

Hysteresis, you seems to like Kajang a lot because you die die want to choose Kajang.

I bought a house in JH and currently staying near Kajang since beginning of this year.

Would like to know from you the goodness of Kajang as I'm still exploring.

I surely believe there are convenience in Kajang that I have yet to discover.

However, I do see the future potential of this place which makes me buy JH in this first place.

Actually, the reason is simple. My old folks are in Kajang.

I think the invitation is open for public cause they advertise on the Newspaper.

I think i will join the party on 22th Sept =)
