Hey guys, i'm wondering how come i get hdd burnt that easily? Lately, i just got one Seagate 320gb sata drive. I connected it with the cables and it worked well with my Maxtor 80gb sata drive. Few days later, I wanna replace the 320gb as the primary hdd, so i backuped all the files into my seagate harddisk. After connecting all the cables (as previous), screwing the hdd on the holder, etc. My hdd got burnt when i start the com. The smoke really shocked me.. -.-" And then, the other day i tried to backup my files again from the only Maxtor hdd drive with those usb-to-sata cable.. IT GOT BURNT AGAIN!!! Desperate now... Now i dun dare to plug in any hdd, afraid tat it'll get burnt again.. Shudn't be power supply problem rite? Coz the harddisks worked before they got burnt.

How about your others hardware??? Like cd writer, graphics card etc... did it burned??? If yes then it must be your faulty PSU, if not u might try to change the sata power cable... some times the cable inside gt wiring short circuit.... Just my 2cents bcoz I have this experience b4.
