Now days HDD go bigger and bigger in capacity and the price bcomes cheap and cheap tats y i guess Todays HDD will not last long. I still have a 5 years old seagate 40gb HDD and wonderfully it still Rocking till todays . I guess manufacture nowdays just reduce so much cost to made HDD . To share with ya Defragmenting have a high potetial damaging the HDD coz most of my 'big space' HDD were damage after doing those defrag.
