Have a Maxtor 40gb ATA66 hdd here.
Running on a rig and suddenly windows crashed....not able to access windows anymore since then and trying to format the hdd.....Always failed at the halfway and subsequently getting worse. There are 2 partitions in this 40gb hdd and the non-windows partition still working pretty well while I not able to format the windows based on partition. Any solution? Tried with winxp pro sp2 cd, not working. Plug into my rig and try to format that particular partition, I'm not able to format it too. Already backup all the data. Any solution for me to try? Low-level format? |
