Anyone has any suggestions about bringing a HDD on an airplane?

About a year ago, I brought my HDD wrapped in its anti-static bag, sandwiched between my towels to keep it from damage in my backpack.
Landed in Canada, and when I tried to set it up it wouldn't boot up at all. Putting it into an external 3.5" hardisk casing (Nexstar 3), I could access my data. (Whew!)

Ended up buying a new 2TB hard disk and transferring everything from the old HDD over.
Now my only issue now is...when I fly back to Malaysia..

Anyone has suggestions?

If I have to buy some sort of safe transportation casing specially designed for HDD's I would. (Well if there's such a thing)
