ALIENWARE ARENA 2010, Asia League 2010 - Malaysia Qualifier

We are looking for aspiring DotA gamers to participate in our Malaysia qualifier to select the top winning team represent Malaysia to travel to Singapore and compete for the highly prestigious title of Asia Champion. So if you are looking for a break and make a name for yourself and your team sign up and join our Malaysia qualifier event now. Also there will be showcase of Alienware systems and some other game activities. Do drop by and enjoy the Alienware experience and the great tournament atmosphere. There will also be live commentary for the live matches.

Asia League Finals

Venue: Singapore

The qualifier champion will represent Malaysia and will be travelling to Singapore from 14th-16th Dec for the finals.


Registration Information

Step one:
Participant must have a DotaSG user account. Those who have not created an account yet, can go to www.DotaSG.com and click on "Register" option found on top of our page to create one immediately. Just follow instructions and key in the necessary information to set up your account. Later check your email for the verification email and follow the instructions given to activate your account.

Ensure that the needed Name, IC and mobile info are entered are real and correct during account creation. Any error, missing or unreal information might cause registration to be invalid or the team member barred from the tournament if discovered.

For those who have existing account in DotaSG, click "UserCP" and then look for "Edit your Details" to ensure those info are there and are correct.

Note, do not use or create multiple account for any participant as we will check all participants' data against our database. Anyone found to have created a new account after they are ranked will also risk having themselves barred or the teams registration being rejected.


Step Two:
Quickly download the Registration Form (CLICK HERE to DOWNLOAD), complete the needed details and send to us at Dotasg_Admin@hotmail.com(remember to add the underscore between the DotaSG and Admin words when keying in our email address) before closing of registration on 25th Nov 2010.

Finally:
After receiving the registration or the slot are allocated, slot could still be dropped if the following are found :
(a) Member(s) double teaming; He/She had registration a second account when already had a previously ranked account.
(b) Change member after registration is closed or late in completing registration.
© If any details in "red" color text area are missing inside the registration form, or information given is found to be inaccurate or contains error.
(d) Important information missing, unreal or have error under the DotaSG user account of any participant.

This event is sponsored by Alienware and Microsoft and organise by DotaSG.

Organiser reserves the rights to cancel or postpone the event. In the situation of insufficient signups, we might make changes, postpone or cancel the tournament. In such situations, teams will be informed and refunded their registration fees(if applicable), should they choose to pull out. We also reserves all rights to make any change(s) under all areas of our event(s). Also the first prize will be pass down to the next winner if the first team cannot attend or have problem attending the Asia League finals in Singapore.

About what you all mentioned above, I will try to find out what happened. As the previous tournament prizes distribution is not handled by us, but we still can help to find out if such things happen. However, this time it's handled by DotASG for the prizes, so if given our by us, we have good track record on prizes distribution.

So relax guys, and give the sponsors a break. It's not their fault sometime these kind of things happen. These are free tournament for gamers, so learn to appreciate a little. How often do you get free reg. signup right? Even in SG all teams pay for reg during events.

My call to all gamers is let's work together to have more good things brought to us.

don read bullshit from alienware, they are trying to scam again.

Well, on what ground do you think they are like that? It's only one incident like this and still we have not verify what happened yet, and you are already made your judgement. Do you think that's fair to the sponsor(s).

Again, we need to handle this maturely and not by name calling or jumping to conclusion so fast. I think I do not need to emphasis again for an event brought to gamers for free, there is need to deserve some level of understanding and also appreciation, of couse be a little forgiving for such changes.

For the good of game community, relax a bit. Give this event a try and you will not be disappointed.

Prize Money , Can state?

lucky last time i join that 1 got get voucher le. even is from prize money change to voucher also....better than ntg

Altho tis tourny is free, but we spent RM500+ on hotel, saboon & other stuff...How 2 relax?
