My son is about 1 year 4 months old now. Lately he hasn't been eating much.

This morning my wife and I let him "play" / eat his food by himself.
To our surprise this actually got him to eat!

Any of you guys had similar experiences ?

Never had this problem with my brother. But becareful not to make it a habit or you'll need to helicopter his food into his mouth even when he's 4 years old.

try to distract him with pictures, etc when you feed him.
