No. Not N8-01 or N8-02.
That would suggest a new model, not a new batch.
New batch are just to be perceived by people to be manufactured in a later date. Hence, you may as well check your production date and things like this. To how you check, I wouldn't know.

I get Manual Focus during video-recording on N900 through an app but the main problem is it cause shuttering doh.gif

Plus that guy didn't even say how to hack doh.gif
