capacitive screen: most common used in iphone, HTC (?) (i dunno, not research HTC model), and N8 and X6 model
use human's statics electricity to sense, so you can use only "skin" to do that. no finger nail.... can multitouch

resistive screem: Satio and other phone...like 5800 also....
use "pressure " to sense, so use whatever hard object also can.... no multitouch
