does buying the expansion pack cataclysm gives u like free game time for like 30days or less? I don't want to end up buying cataclysm but no more game time

Like all the previous Expansions, no.

Blizzard getting less and less generous after each expansion. free game time is the least they can do to show gratitude to their customers. Most of those that will play cataclysm most probably have been with the game since the original WOW.
