Hello everyone , i am desperate since i dunno which version i should get .
Now someones offering me the wii , which is US version
What is the difference between US korea UK and japan version ?
which is is preferred ?

And somehow when i checked through the internet, i had come across certain words like Soft-mod and Hard-mod ?
may i know whats this ?
and lets say if i got this wii, how do i check the firmware version

It is recommend getting the US version cause the game is easier to find. and US is yea, mostly US game, so don't expect any japanese game on US region Wii

Soft-mod and Hard-mod is Wii modification, which is use to play several homebrew. But it is wrong to discuss about this cause may lead to piracy. so pls don't mod your wii.

the firmware can be check thru wii system menu.
