Can you guys recommend any nice addon for WoW? I love see some addon/modification my my WoW. Well as goggling around before this, many suggest to get addon pack from wow curse. So after i done downloading and installing the addons, i try to enjoy my new addons but i there are many LUA errors. Trying goggling again what is LUA and I totally not understand it

try curse.com or wowinterface. Make sure you are downloading the latest version of the addons. Some of the addons havent update to 4.03 yet. Make sure u check "load outdated addon"

Check addon depends to your class / playstyle or preference. Look at the top addons, or popular addons in addon sites

and addons would sux resources but the values varies from 1 to another, like the dreaded gee-ess addon on few dudes during raid made people yelled, 'AMAGAWD WATAFAAAAAK LAAAAAAAAAAAGGG!!!'

Lol!! Ppl still QQ'ing about GS this and that. They should just use the average ilvl thing Blizz gave us.

As for addons, depends what you're doing. I usually just have dps meter, gatherer on stayby in case I wanna farm ore/herb and the best addon EVAR!!! - crapaway. I don't know if a new version was released, but it automatically vendors all grey items in your backpack when you go to any vendor.

Im looking for an addon that will:

1) When i press the key, for example 1, and i set it to arcane blast, and without releasing it, it will keep casting arcane blast until i release it.

2) This maybe useful or for fun, If u play tekken or other fighting games before, u can unleash some actions by pressing some keys in sequence, E.g. XXO, OOX etc.

So i was wondering, how bout an addon like u can press FFR for X skills, FFG for another skills. This may be useful, since i always run out of keybinds.


is there anyplace that i can share my addons ideas, so some developers can pick it up?

I'm looking for similar add-ons with the features i mentioned, if it never exist in the first place, its in my wish list to have some add-ons developer to work on something similar to that.

On the reference to Mage or whether i know how to play a mage, It doesn't make u cool on the net for making a joke out of it. Also, spamming ab wont give u high dps in cata, because u will likely get out of mana pretty fast, and pvp is not about spamming deep freeze +Icelance in 85.

So, please stop your narrow minded level 80 mindset and please move forward.

as for the 'not spamming df + il' part, tried killing 5 people in 1 cap point with fire spec and no healz? ice mage can do that currently and i got crit 12k on 1 single il carrying about 1.5k resil gears...

and all pally got was a lolhammer on wings (in which, got nerfed after 4.0.3 patch)

Mage is OP now, period, no mage should denied that. And so is SP & Feral being op. But what is the point of joking about how op mage is pre cata?

Blizzard no longer balance pvp around, 1v1, 3v3, its all about battleground and level 85.

Also, im not sure this is the best place to argue about class balancing.

From what you said earlier, I don't think you are looking for addons, more like a set of macros.

For 1) doesn't look like it is do-able though. If you noticed, everytime you press and hold on to a button in wow, the action doesn't repeat itself. The best you can do are cast sequence macros. Any 'higher level' macros that acts like a bot (or even close to a bot) could get you banned by Blizz. Your idea of a repeatable cast macro sounds dangerously close to that.

For 2). I suppose it can be done. For example to cast Fireball you need to hit FFX, the actual spell button will probably be X and the F F before that is a requirement that you place on the macro. If you had to go through so much trouble to create more keybinds, I would suggest just using the Razer Naga and save yourself all the trouble.

ya for 1) I believe it is against the TOS, it is probably too "automatic",

For the second point,

Its not about running out of keys, i'm sure i can use those modifier and different keys from my mouse etc,

But for mere fun factors and personal preference, im sure hitting FFR is still better than hitting Alt Y or etc.

I love Tekken game, so who knows, i can play wow the tekken way?

I use Power aura classic, and auctionator.

i used Barkeep and button forge for my action bars
