I thought we played pretty well, dominating and could have scored 3-4 more goals. Our forwards just couldn't convert them that's the problem

QUOTE(c_calvin @ Nov 20 2010, 11:14 PM) i found something interesting on arshavin website that day. Djourou probably has that physique on him which already cover up our incompetencies in free kick/air ball. In defence we probably need one of them Vermaelen/Djourou.CODE It’s also worth noting that Djourou came out to play in the guests’ starting line-up again. What does it mean? Nothing, except that Arsenal have never lost with him playing. So Koscielny is the weak link? Let's pray really really hard for this to come true Koscielny is ok...But we can't afford to have a weak partnership in Free kicks/corners. I don't think there's anything wrong with Denilson? I thought he played pretty decently and also won us alot free kicks. The one who should be subbed is Fabregas.

I din say anything bad about Fab, I just want to be fair. First half is first half, 2nd half is 2nd half...if he started to play bad, he'll be subbed too period. Don't drag the whole team into his gameplay.

I don't know why? Altho it is a lost but I don't feel too sad/worry about it tho (in compare to losing to Spurs at home)
PS: Actually I didn't even watch the game this morning. This post has been edited by ProbMan: Nov 24 2010, 05:22 PM |

QUOTE(rifasha @ Nov 24 2010, 06:34 PM) to me. this is the best combo team we have had for a while. but, in order to win things (trophies), they have to stay intact. im gonna give 2 years, 2 years that's hell a long time, I believe we can make it this year or next. The only problem with AW might be his tendency to use a "fabulous" player (giving in to whiner fans popular demand) until he wear and tear then only decide to try other sub. And then when the sub still trying to get used to the game or even in most unfortunate case involved in a Lose game, and those whiners will keep on whining about that "fabulous" player who should be playing. This post has been edited by ProbMan: Nov 24 2010, 07:29 PM |

I think the only difference between the Invicibles and what we're having is that our Star is actually a midfield now not a Striker or a Defender. Everyone hoping that a midfield can play a whole season that doesn't sound realistic to me.

Well, I guess to really assured a win now...we must at least draw the first blood or have a gap of 2 goals. Just keep on attacking and thats good. MOTM = Arshavin.

QUOTE(JoyLee1055 @ Nov 27 2010, 11:35 PM) Aiyah, not surprising that MU is doing so well against blackburn. Because of these kinda spineless inferior teams in the league (I remembered there is 2 or 3 of them if im not mistaken), when they (MU) won it ppl has not been too excited about it. Whether is 7-0 or 70-0.Big SAM is a huge supporter of Ferguson...............so u noe lar......... This post has been edited by ProbMan: Nov 28 2010, 07:14 AM |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Nov 28 2010, 12:04 PM) Chamakh is doing what Robin was doing for us last season before he went off injured. He's either scoring goals himself or playing others into scoring positions, and I just can't help but think what Robin could have done for us had he not been so unlucky with injuries. To do a split second passing while he's dribbling in fast mode is rather difficult situation. Im glad he'd just do some shots and not passing game, Aston Villa playing like Tottenham mode leaving some space for the midfield, lying deeper to see if we're goin to do the usual passing game (we're dominating). But Cesc is not playing, so our game became a variable not predictable. But anyway, some opinions on the game yesterday... missed the first half hence didn't get to see Bobby in action. 1. This is probably one of Arshavin's best display. Quick feet, inventive passing, lovely turns and tricks. However he can be quite frustrating at times as the squandered a few chances where a team mate was free to receive a pass but Andy himself went for glory and either blasted the ball over the top or got tackled. Still, this is the Arshavin that we want to see week in week out, not the lazily jogging version. This post has been edited by ProbMan: Nov 28 2010, 07:06 PM |

QUOTE(Angel of Deth @ Nov 28 2010, 07:38 PM) Arsenal got 20 in Fair Play standing, but i don't think that stats did any justice because there are some bad/inconsistent call from referee. At least Arsenal doesn't play to kill. At least our player knee-butt (accidentally) the Villa goalkeeper and he's still ok. If other team probably just gonna send that fellow to wear helmet. |

QUOTE(Breaktru @ Nov 29 2010, 09:06 PM) Neutral here . I do really think he played his part when he's wearing the Arsenal shirt , only have his performance currently hindered by injuries . While he's important , but if Barca had or care to enough to bid him out next season , then Arsenal will still be Arsenal and it's up to the other lads to step up for him . Yeah, especially if he can lift the UCL with Wenger. That moment gonna make us all cry man...I tell u.Still , in the end I hope Cesc Fabregas will stay , and puts up performance that could help us win something . |

To whoever who thinks that our passing-game is way below than Barcelona can just go fly kite. Firstly, Real Madrid is not Arsenal. Secondly, Arsenal can pawns Barcelona anytime (even if we're playing like vs Tottenham derby). Thirdly, even if Arsenal lost to Barcelona, that is because of sissy divers.
