QUOTE(Racerx @ Dec 16 2010, 12:45 AM) Does the same happen when using that display alone? another sign from d lcd is tat it's power button's light blinks twice in a second before turning on |

QUOTE(khelben @ Jan 14 2011, 09:27 AM) Hey guys, some pointers would be appreciated. i've had similar prob as u, i'd take tat figure as a reference. i was jz planning to sent my lcd for repair My 3-year-old Samsung 19" 1440x900 just died on me last week. Samsung quoted me around RM328 for the repairs and I told them its alright since a new one is about that price too. I'm now looking for something similar, and currently I'm eying Samsung's e2020 (20", 1600x900) since its about RM350. Are there any better options out there? Thanks in advance. btw, wat model did u use? mine was 932B plus |

QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Jan 14 2011, 10:20 AM) They do it on purpose dont you think so? bad luck for me i'd say. At times it make sense as it's cheaper to make a whole new one than repairing one btw, i've googled d symptoms of my lcd n found out quite a few recommend me checking d capacitors for leaked ones n changed them shud i sent it to a shop n have them to take a look at it? |

i've been wondering since i use a UPS + AVR tat it occasionally 'regulates/clicking' means the power supply in my home tends to fluctuate a lot.
will it shorten d monitor's life due to d fluctuations? d UPS is only for my wireless router and modem tho... |
