Why do you need HDMI actually? It's just DVI with audio

3 year advanced change means that if after troubleshooting your lcd is confirmed to be malfunctioning then they'will ship you a replacement unit the next business day and you need to send back yours for warranty

Premium panel guarantee means that if you have even only one bright pixel [one that stays in one colour all the time] they'll will ship you a replacement unit the next business day.

These are info from Google.

Added on February 18, 2011, 11:51 pmThe price will go down over time, but if you want it now why not just get it now?It isn't like it's going to come down rm150 in price over a short period of time like that.

Forget the HDMI, or u'll be ended just like me before; purchased a TN monitor with a higher price with HDMI but regretted to find out the color quality s**k.

I bought U2311H and using it with DVI with HDMI-DVI convertor without any problem.

RM609 is a good buy. 3 years warranty rclxms.gif

For color critical works like photoshop and design = Go for U2311H IPS.

Simple test

With TN, usually encounter the below problem..

IPS have better performance than this. Best for editing with gamut, transparency, shadow filter etc.

Hi guys, i need some advice here.
Im looking for a monitor, with HDMI port aswell audio out, going to use it as laptop extension monitor and playing Xbox,

I have 3 model here and which one should i choose, both of em around rm 500.

ViewSonic VX2239WM, 21.5inch, got hdmi, audio in/out, DVI, VGA, and built in speaker. About rm 500

Dell ST2320L, 23 inch,LED,same as above but no speaker. About Rm 509(dell site)

Dell ST2220L 21 inch, same as the dell monitor, rm 479

Hadui, im in dilemma, should i choose Dell? branded(good 2nd hand value), LED, got audio out but need to buy speaker for it. Higher dynamic contrast than Viewsonic. but need to order online.

If i choose Viewsonic, well most of review on the net is positive, got speaker for my XBOX if connected thru HDMI, but it worth it?

Some will say, why dont u buy HDMI>DVI adapter? well, the Microsoft is bloodsucker, they design the bundled AV cable with huge plug, blocking away the HDMI port. other than modify the cable, they sold audio adapter with slimmer plug but with ripoff price.

i am still considering this 23" LED monitor, is it ok for normal usage? most of the time i'll be using it for movie and some occasional gaming

but what make me wonder is the price between 21" and 23" difference only RM30 hmm.gif
