Are there any 23"-24" 120Hz LCD that's selling in Malaysia?

Dell Alienware, Viewsonic...So far I know this 2 brand. Samsung no idea. Got but don know can find at M'sia or not.

QUOTE(pergilahsayang @ Dec 28 2010, 04:57 PM)
Can you get an ips panel 23" at that price with other brand? Ultrasharp 23" rm 639. The 24" RM 1200 if not mistaken. And its only 1" difference hahaha
*
AOC iF23? IPS panel too. i guess it share same panel with Dell.
U2410 and U2311H. Their spec difference is too huge. Price for U2410 around RM17xx~RM19xx (current is RM1932)

Sometime is due to your computer response slow. what is your computer system spec? because 1400x900 to 1920x1080 is a jump for computer performance.

hi thr all, i m finding a gud LED screen wif affordable price.. based on my survey i found out da best product currently in da market is Dell 24" ST420L (Rm609 with Dynamic Contrast Ratio 5million) and Acer 23" S231HL(RM525 with Dynamic Contrast Ratio 12million)

Which 1 shuld i choose? (>.<)
*
Mind you those xx million Dynamic contrast ratio just marketing advertising. Samsung already give up this kind of advertising. Just put "Mega Dynamic". This best is go shop view by your own eyes to compare. Ignore those xx million DCR. The screen will tell you their difference.

You can save some money to consider purchase Dell ultrasharp U2311H, currently is very worth to purchase with his price.

You can change your background color via ur OS.

1)For Window 7, Right click your desktop, Click personalize>Window color>Advanced Appearance setting...>Under "Item", Choose "Window" Then select any color you like. >Apply. TaTa~ rclxms.gif

2)For IE background after change ur desktop background. Open IE, click Tools>Internet Option>Under "General" click "Accessibility"> Tick "Ignore colors specified on web pages" > OK. Tata~ rclxms.gif

3)For FireFox> Open FireFox> Tools>Options>Content>Under "Font & Colors" Click Colors...> Under Background choose any color you like> Untick "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selection above">OK. Tata~

Upon checking Dell website for IPS Panel;

Dell U2311H -> 23" -> RM639
Dell U2410 -> 24" -> RM1932
Dell U2711 -> 27" -> RM2699
Dell UltraSharp U3011 -> 30" -> RM4299

It seems the most logical choice for photo editing monitor is 23" as the price make most sense...

Do you guys know any other IPS panel monitor of these size?

Thanks in advance.

get 24" onward...
HP ZR24w 24-inch S-IPS LCD RM1279 according their website.

need sifus help here...

i plan to buy new monitor..now my choice down to viewsonic vx2439wm and vx2739wm or samsung p2770h..does 24" 27" differ greatly in term of image quality..

does image on 27" monitor will be blurer than 24" as it has same resolution(1920x1080)?

can my eye detect lower image crispness on 27" monitor?
*
For movie and gaming... no... even 50" lcd tv use 1920x1080. unless you lower down game resolution/graphic option or watch poor quality movie.

i am still considering this 23" LED monitor, is it ok for normal usage? most of the time i'll be using it for movie and some occasional gaming

but what make me wonder is the price between 21" and 23" difference only RM30 hmm.gif
*
Because currently 23" have higher market demand, So production cost cheaper. everyone want 23" smile.gif
23" is common for user now.

I suggest you order from dell now because now dell having promotion Dell ST2320L with RM60 discount. check it at dell website.

I have a 24 inches LCD monitor at home..I plan to get another LCD to extend my desktop. But then 24inches IPS panel seems abit expensive. So I am wondering whether getting 23 inches LCD would be ok if extend it with my 24 inches since the resolution are the same....?
*
There have other 24" LCD which not ultrasharp series. Example Dell P2411H RM699. (small and medium business section)

Guys, i just ordered Dell st2320l, and when i read a review in Pcmonitor.org
i feel... damm.. i shoud get the viewsonic one... is anybody here using st2320l too? please tell me more about these monitor..
i used to hear that Dell got some input lag problem, which is mean that a big negative for playing FPS game online.. even offline like COD in hard mode.
And from all review i read, these monitor got some color washout problem.. sigh... well. what do i expected from rm 500 23inch monitor..

maybe i should get a new monitor.. combine with these.. eyefinity... lol...
*
Don't worry about the review, they must write something on the review report. they are very sensitive on it even there only too little difference/ disadvantage. else nothing for they to write.

About the input lag, since you already order. you can try first. I don think still got this kind of problem for today technology.

It's disappointing indeed to see Dell move their 24" entry H-IPS to e-IPS instead, I wonder what makes them move, not many people able to afford the 27" and 30" alternatives.
Must look forward to their LED IPS, hopefully they won't mess it up.
