wow what a great picture is this man! did you edit it?

hi all. seriously considering to buy a panny GF2 kit. was quoted rm2099 for it + panasonic 8GB class 4, G series bag, cleaning kit, 2 years warranty.

good price? now torn between 14mm or 14 - 42mm? any advice here?

my current camera is Olly 570 uz SP... felt kinda big and outdated d, hence the GF2... thanks in advance for ur advice sifus...

I don't use any filter for my 20mm. All I use is a metal hood to protect the lens. The pictures are super sharp w/out the additional glass.

Maybe you should reread what I wrote there.

What I meant was, without filter, the lights reach the lens without any disturbance. With filter, inevitably the light will diffract in some way degrading the picture quality.

This is true to my shooting style. I use the lens hood merely to protect the lens front element. It does not effect picture quality directly.

I can't find a screen protector for it, and the screen is pretty scratched up accesories is worst.

The guy who sell this Kata bag said that DP415 is not suitable for GF1+pancake, but checking the kata bag chooser website, it could be able to hold GF1+pancake. I bought Kata Macro KB instead, out of production but managed to get it from ebay. Still waiting for it.

Problem with GF1 is, it is a bit oversized for compact, hence, many compact cases won't fit. Not GF2 though since it is a bit smaller than GF1.

i juz use lowepro ilc classic 50..as per name it is made for m43..bought it along with the camera for rm130..it can accommodates a camera with its attached kit lens up to 14-45 mm..
