sniper do you got micro 4/3 camera? which one u r using?

I looking for EPL-2 how if it compared to GF-1 , my brother owned a gf-1, i feel GF-1 is better ><" , GF-2 is not an upgrade from GF-1 (not so significant).

GF-1 is mid level while GF-2 is entry level according to dpreview

Added on March 10, 2011, 1:48 pmforgot to say with pancake 20mm , i like wide

I don't own one tongue.gif

Though I got access to GF1, NEX3, NEX5, E-PL2 nearly everyday... it's a double-edged sword to be working in an office filled with camera freaks.

Arguably, E-PL2 color, IBIS yada yada makes a "better" camera but for strictly mojo/kimochi/solid-piece-of-freakin-metal feel... GF1+20mm is best.

LOL !!

fun lo like that !

Yea, guess i need wait another new micro 4/3 come out then only get one. GF1 is now enough edi.

I like panasonic and olympus.

20mm better .

Fast lens
Wide can include more things

I will get 20mm 1.7 first because micro 4/3 iso performance not so good as dslr(i mean bump iso to increase light sensitivity would cause u alot noise) , so a fast prime lens do help me alot in lowlight =)

Just my opinion , that y my bro get 20mm 1.7 gf1.

Added on March 11, 2011, 1:21 pmAsk yourself , do you always shoot in concert ><"

Can somebody help me here..
i tried using lightroom but every time i import RAW photos, lightroom will remove all the in-camera setting.. if i take black an white, the picture will become colour photo.
*
Raw means "RAW" is pure.

Your picture control , Noise Reduction, white balance wont applied on your RAW lar.

oh, is it.. then why people prefer to take RAW photos.. isnt it a pain in d arse to edit all the picsĀ  blink.gif
*
Because of that people prefer to take RAW.

They dont have to worry for wrong white balance. Means they can take full control of the image. Just like a white paper , depend on personal preference what do you want to apply.

Quick questions to bro & sis here.

is there actually a Hoya PRO 1D sized 46mm ? or they do not have it in this size ?

What UV filters do you guys use on the 20mm ?
*
I not sure whether Hoya Hd and B+W XS-Pro filter got that size or not , you try to get either one of them. They are the best so far .

Or you go naked with you lens. No filter but you have to becareful lar

Apart from being durable, does it really give good quality?
*
Not good , is better

For me , i would grab a good filter (Hoya HD or B+W XS-Pro) for a lens that i used always. Most of the time.

No doubt, go for HD or XS-PRO , you wont regret.

Btw, let me list down the price for 52mm . Dont try to grab 52mm over rm160. Below or equal to RM160 should okay price.

I dont really agree with that~ it's bad when u think that way, because In our life, there's too many "Happened Once Moment"~
u cant capture them all, after reading & reading i know something about photography~

some of us take a shoot with setting, tools, lightning, & stuff to MAKE the shoot stunning but the shoot MADE by photographer~
sure it's a great shoot because of good lightning, better angle, nice background & stuff.

some of us take photos like just for daily life, but simply take what we think that will be a nice photo~
dun care about too much setting, or lightning~

i like the way the photo to be, being ordinary dont meant your photos worth nothing~
it's real, & it looks real, even tough it's not really a stunning shoot!!

tried once i really want to take some nice shoot but time, place & subject dont match my needs~
i've been so sad for that day~ because i really want that photo~

after i read only i know, photography is telling you to let it go~
the world are there & it wont go away, if you're death, ur photos inside ur albums worth NOTHING!!
so why should i care so much about that shoot even it's freaking stunning if i manage to get one??

capture Your moment with your own eyes~ sometimes the Tools (camera) not listening to you~
After all a good photographer are depends on their eyes~ to view which angle better, what lightning should i use & what setting to set~
there's so much to learn about Life In Photography~ & remember it's only a Hobby~
the Hobby to make you Happy, do you think you're "Happy" ?? that's all the matter  thumbup.gif
*
For me, photography is not telling me to let it go...Maybe the type of photography we shoot is diff.
Photo album worth nothing if im death, not really. At least i left something memorable album in my life and still can be viewed by my children and my family.

Eyes capture the moment yes, but brain stores the moment. I think what the forumer meant was dont take a beautiful pic but take a meaningful pic. Is not about the settings, is about your heart, how you think in that moment, how you feel, click shutter and got the pic. The pic can represent what you feel, what you think in that moment.

oh, is the karraka or something like that good enuf? cos it is kinda cheap, and got hydrometer also..
*
Good enough....

But the best is dry box with digital as you dont have to worry about the humidity keep changing.

For karraka or DIY dry box so far so good , as long as you check the humidity

Why dry cabinet? It is because convenient, easy , dont have to worry much about the humidity change lo.
