Yea, tht's what 1 of the shop told me.
when I asked around, some shop just trying to persuade me to get the silver/black,
saying that E-P3 got no white color, tht's for E-PL2... very bad business tactic
just tell the customer honestly it will be in later la, why la want to cheat.

a lot of shops in kl selling between 2700 - 2900, 3k+ shld be the SRP.
but White E-P3 still not available, only black and silver.
have activity next week, in a tough dilemma to get silver or hold back and wait the white

Just to share a small story, had a rather bad experience just now...

Finally made up my mind to get the silver E-P3 instead of waiting for the white color.
So I travel to Ampang Park during lunch time, thinking to buy E-P3 from the first floor shop
where bro Faidz85 get his E-P3 with the cheapest price that I know - RM2730
Sadly, that shop only has black color, which totally not an option for me.

So I walking around Ampang park to check whether any other shop carry silver E-P3,
too bad either they don't have at all or only Black color left.
Finally I found a shop at G floor, very near to McD, there were 2 old uncles and 1 aunty inside.
Here goes the story....

Me: Do you have E-P3, white color? (trying my luck)
Aunty: Just sold, no more stock now, but let me check the price for you
Me: Ok (waiting there...)
Aunty: It's RM2750 after discount, cash price, with 8GB SD and a Bag.
Me: (Never mind just RM20 extra compare to the shop at first floor, ON la~). Ok, when u can get stock? Today possible?
Aunty: (Pick up the telephone and start making call)
Me: (I assume she needs to check with the supplier)
After 30 seconds.......still making call
Me: I go for my lunch first, later I come back~
Aunty: Ok~

After had my lunch at McD, went back to the shop

Me: Hi, how's the E-P3?
Aunty: You need to pay RM200 deposit.
Me: Ya, I am ok, but can get today?
Aunty:Tomorrow! You only buy 1 unit, where got ppl give you stock by the same day!
Yes, she replied in a very RUDE tone, BAD attitude

Me: (WTF?? She is the one who make call trying to check, now suddenly SOT? )

Aunty: You want to buy 10 units??! I can drive and get it for you NOW la! I give you such a cheap price! FREE A BAG for you some more!

Me: ( I was totally lack of this kind experience, first time ever met a shop that scold customer )
So I just walk away, so regretted now as I should told her how stupid is her to cheat, the 8GB and Bag are standard accessories, don't talk BIG like give it for free. And 2750 is not the cheapest too.

Just to share my experience, try to avoid this shop and tell your friends, relatives, everyone that you know.
I didn't get the shop name as I was so shock since it's so damn ridiculous. But you would never miss the shop if you walk from McD towards LRT station,
beside that idiot shop is a Watch shop.

That 2 old uncle are like 2 pillars there, don't talk.
Seriously I think that shop business must be too good, that auntie can scold me even there were other customers inside.

Finally got my E-P3




First test shoot before go to office, shoot with bare hand, merge in PS (not scene mode, no tripod), Dramatic art filter applied.

If 800-900 is abit over budget, maybe can wait for VF-3.
fewer pixels, lower magnification compare to VF-2 though, but still 100% frame coverage.
Expect to launch with lower price compare to VF-2.

Looks like I have bad observation on photograph, haha...

yes, they are genuine and reliable.
However I find their price slightly on the high side, unless I couldn't find that item anywhere else,
they are not my first choice.

I don't know abt other PEN, but E-P3 does come with that feature, 2x zoom when manual focus.

why so many dust?

It's already in-stock at Olympus brand store and some local camera shop too.

This is extremely good price, memory card just get else where

By the time getting E-P3, white is not in the market yet, so I chose silver instead.
Personally prefer white, but silver quite stylo too, especially pair with VF-3

I got this from "insider" as my father running a photography shop.
But mostly you can get 2699-2799 with 8gb memory card street price, beyond that price better don't buy, find somewhere else.
