Owh...didn't know there are auctions organised by Panasonic.

Why Olympus never organise one? Haha. I went through the E-5's brochure and the technologies they use are amazing. But the price is quite steep. If they can give a good price for E-5's bundle with 12-60mm of even the 14-35mm, I'd definitely take one.

My brother just got his D7000. Somehow I see my E-PL1 gives better pictures. And the picture is what counts.

Really can't wait for 2011 surprise by Olympus. Wide bright lens. Pro m43 body.

@ idoblu - I envy your lens. How is you got it for?

Please do not mislead other that m4/3 image quality is better than conventional SLR, it will never be. Even shooting at base iso also can see the difference( The highlights are easily overblown, shadow noise etc)... I have ep2 and even by then my D90 is already better than the EP2 in terms of image quality, u are talking about D7000 here(Imho this camera easily beats the D90 hands down in terms of image quality from what i have tested)

Oh... like tat maybe I have to look into dslr.. but the size factor I'd somehow a concern for me too... any low light sample u guys can share?

Off topic abit,  how about next series? I saw tat they have larger sensor.
Do they perform as well as their dslr counterpart ?

Base on my experience, the m4/3 is about 1 stop lower performance than SLR ( D90 iso 1600 is almost the same as GF1 iso800 )...but iso1600 is quite usable provided that u expose correctly, can do some noise reduction if u like.. now that i am already using full frame SLR i find it hard to accept the noise performance of GF1 doh.gif
