Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25 mm f/1.4 ASPH Micro 4/3 Lens Singapore MSRP is $949.
However 1st Batch got dealers selling @$779 inclusive of 7% GST last week. Currently market price is SGD$803 - $850 and stock is limited. Any members coming to SG holiday can try asking in Funan IT Mall I'm going to KL 2 weeks later. Can recommend me where to shop for camera accessories? I saw someone posted YLN, where is it? just got an olympus e-PL1. obviously by now it's the bottom of the rung, but I still think it's a great camera hahaha. very good offer from fotokem.
this has probably been asked to death here, but there's over 60pages in this thread, what's a good all around lens(apart from the kit lens u get) to complement the camera? i travel a lot, and likes to take panaroma shots, buildings/architecture, and closeup of..FOOD! |

since just pentax launch this Q-mount, hence lens to be mount on pentax q will be lesser in market. = no alternative lense made by third party. correct me if i'm wrong
even m4/3 lens also only few lens available in market. This post has been edited by subrok007: Aug 29 2011, 10:47 AM |

Added on August 29, 2011, 2:11 pm QUOTE(maggi @ Aug 29 2011, 10:32 AM) that's my point...if 4/3 sensor is already small, why buy pentax Q? juz get a Oly XZ-1 or Canon S95...even those cameras have a bigger sensor, and is cheaper than pentax Q...This post has been edited by highwind85: Aug 29 2011, 02:11 PM |

hopefully you are right but according to dpreview - http://www.dpreview.com/news/1108/11082910...nicfirmware.asp
Panasonic has provided details of a firmware update for its recent G-system cameras to provide full compatibility with the newly-announced Lumix X power zoom lenses. The firmware, which will be available at 'the beginning of October' will work with the DMC-GH2, G3, GF3 and GF2, and will provide several additional options for how the powered zoom is controlled. By a process of elimination, it seems reasonable to assume these are the functions that won't be available to older G-series users (G1, GF1, GH1, G2, G10), and possibly Olympus PEN users. |

Come to think of it... this "X" lens really reminds me of this old old ahbeng casing http://img.tomshardware.com/us/2003/04/28/...ss/img_1872.jpg |

What "other" features are they that I can't use on GF1?
I don't care for now as I have 14-42mm, 20mm pancake and 25mm f/1.4 now. If I have to use X lens in future I will just get a G3 or GH2 (or whatever latest and greatest by then) body This post has been edited by samurai1337: Aug 30 2011, 02:01 PM |
