lol this is how all these so call front focus and back focus issue on 2nd hand lens come in,... i talk to Sigma technician before in damansara and they told me lot of ppl shop claim know how to repair but dont have the proper know how..
anyway is just additional information to potential buyer only..ok case close..i just chat chat only..
but this is not normal shop wor. This is Panasonic authorised distro. So I'm quite comfortable lor.
wah.... a lot of knowledge here. Thanks sifu. No wonder no matter how i took the picture still feel not sharp enough. My impression is using higher ISO for night scene to increase light sensitivity (of course not too high until unacceptable noise)
if u use tripod, then you can slow down your shutter but u get light trail though... and not recommend for portrait...portrait need flash and high shuttle
This is the bengang part.. how come (not aware about others) Canon for instance.... don't make MLU available as a shortcut. Have to dig so deep into it.
not an issue for me because its seldom use also...
Ya lor.. Panasonic always copy Sony wan. Sebiji like the NEX's Keiko Kitagawa advert...Hahahhaha
as expected sniper will reply with NEX... as m43 fanboy in m43 thread, NEX sucks.. Panasonic advert better than Sony because we have connection with Hebe... but who the hell is Keiko?

hey guys...do you guys use uv filter/lens hood on your m.zuiko 14-42mm lens?
nope. Its a cheap lens. Normally UV filter is for protection for expensive lens. If you buy cheap UV filter, then your picture will degrade. Normally we recommend getting Hoya Pro 1D filter. The price is RM100 like that.

opps. what is "f1.7" ?? newbie here. still learning ^^
f/1.7 is opening of aperture. THe smaller number means opening bigger. Opening bigger more light and your picture brighter and no need to increase ISO. Also the smaller the number, you can get bokeh.
should i get only the kit lens and the body? then when i got the money i will get the 20mm pancake lens. Or should i just get the 14mm pancake+kit lens? becos the 14mm is kinda good when i wanna do P&S, but need to fork out extra 400 for twin lens.
I'm using 17mm f/2.8. And after I get this pancake, I seldom use the kit lens. So yes, if I were you, I'll get the pancake also because that's the reason we getting a m43.
When I go travel in Koh Samui, I only bring 17mm f/2.8 and no problem to get good picture.
Of course, if I were to choose again, I might get Olympus XZ1 with f/1.8 lens...hahaha....
oh kk... becos i dunno i should save the rm400 for 20mm or just use it to get 14mm one.. Becos my application is more towards getting good photo under low light condition where the 20mm pancake is good at. But the pancake is like rm1.2k.. need save alot to get it haha..
rm400 only mah... just geddit... sell it when u getting 20mm...
for me, 17mm f/2.8 also plenty good in low light...probably because i use olympus with sensor IS... =.=||
