answers are 10. 6cm and 37. C but why ? sad.gif
*
the first one is

10N will give 4cm
30N will give 12cm

if they are arranged in parallel( like in the diagram)
the lenght will be divided

if they are arranged in series, the length will be the same.
if two of the springs are arranged in series, then it will be 2x where x is the extension

the second one is

according to the formula V=IR, R=V/I( gradient of the graph)

D

Any rational number that is the square of another rational number. In other words, the square root of a perfect square is a whole number. For example, 0, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, etc. are all perfect squares.
*
you are correct, but i don't understand why it is D.

you said perfect sqare is any number that when square root the answer is an integer.

so 0,1 and 4 are perfect sqaure,so isn't the answer suppose to be C (3)?
