is it true that the thicker the lens,
the shorter the focaL length?

Thinner lens --> Longer focal length
Thicker lens --> Shorter focal length ( increase magnification )

Longer focal length --> Lower power of lens
Shorter focal length --> Higher power of lens

m1u1 + m2u2 = ( m1 + m2 ) v

the given answer is 75,195

2sin (x - 45) = 1

sin (x - 45) = 1/2

(x - 45) = sin^-1 1/2

x - 45 = 30, 150 (Range is -45< (x - 45) < 315)

x = 75, 195

I think, if i remember. You only expand Sin/Cos/Tan(X-Y) if it is equal to 0.
